日前於日月潭國家風景區辦理「國家風景區銀髮族旅遊記者會及踩線活動」，介紹各國家風景區銀髮族旅遊產品，並以日月潭管理處推出之「日月潭樂齡低碳輕旅行」遊程辦理踩線活動，跟隨領航員騎乘觀光導覽三輪車，品嘗桃米社區以在地特色農產品研發的養生餐飲，隨後帶領著銀髮族人士至日月潭享用專為銀髮族開發的白金套餐，餐後輕鬆漫步於日月潭自行車步道欣賞沿途美景至向山遊客中心，並小做休憩享用惠蓀咖啡推出的養生下午茶點，體驗樂齡低碳輕旅行的樂趣。

日月潭國家風景區管理處為推廣銀髮樂齡遊程，在埔里地區結合低碳議題，與大埔里文創協會合作訓練完成20餘位專業的埔里觀光解說領航員，並運用Feeling18巧克力工房及大埔里地區觀光發展協會所引進的德國Velofrom觀光導覽三輪車，這款國內首度引進外型優美的低碳載運交通工具，後座可搭乘2位遊客，由領航員騎乘悠閒的穿梭在街道巷弄，為旅客介紹當地人文歷史，遊覽在地商家景點，這樣的高品質且便利的旅遊服務模式，將成為最適合銀髮族及無障礙人士使用的綠色低碳遊覽服務。

日月潭國家風景管理處張振乾處長，在接受專訪時表示，銀髮族是一個特殊旅遊族群，讓退休老人也能擁有正常的旅遊休閒活動，不僅對銀髮族的身心健康有莫大的助益，對社會安定、旅遊品質的提升也有極大幫助。
