信義鄉首屆葡萄公主選拔於10月3日在眾參賽佳麗中由來自宜蘭的林彥君小姐以專業及熟練的姿態美儀，獲得全體評審的青睞，奪得信義鄉玉山葡萄后冠及首獎20萬元獎金，往後鄉公所行銷信義鄉葡萄活動時，將有亮眼的葡萄公主為農產品扮演最佳的行銷代言人。

今年是信義鄉公所第一次舉辦葡萄公主比賽，參加者非常踴躍來自全國各地共有66位報名，實際50名參賽，9月26日初賽時每位選手都發揮活潑熱情的精彩表演，現場選手不論裝扮、唱歌、舞蹈、魔術表演等都令人賞心悅目，有如一場華麗的才藝饗宴，計選出最佳的前10名進入決賽。決賽於10月3日在農會梅子夢工廠進行選拔，然本次活動除了參賽者能表現才藝表演及臨場反應，最重要的精髓是要對葡萄有熟稔的知識及專業體態表達，決賽的10位選手再次使出全力將最佳的功力一一展現，當日在8位評審以專業及嚴格的審核下，成績揭曉，第一名林彥君(23歲/宜蘭市)、第二名黃子虔(21歲/雲林縣)、第三名邱美如(21歲/彰化縣)，3人未來一年將共同為信義鄉農產品行銷代言。

鄉長史強表示，信義鄉位處高海拔地區，有著清淨的耕耘環境，鄉內的農民運用優勢的天然資源辛勤的細心栽培高山新鮮美味蔬果，所以信義鄉優質的蔬果絕對是市場上優先選購的農產品，產品好外，更需多元的曝光行銷，鄉公所及農會長年積極的扮演廣度行銷，使大眾更為孰知及採購，今藉由葡萄公主選拔活動的曝光，將再為豐丘葡萄建立更扎實的品質招牌，以後只要提起吃葡萄就會聯想到信義鄉。
